Doctrinal Beliefs

We respect the historic reformed confessions and catechisms as representing the teaching contained in the inerrant word of God.  The Heidelberg Catechism is favoured for its pastoral emphasis.

The Gospel of God’s Grace

We are committed to a thorough-going Biblical message of the love and forgiveness of God through the finished work of Christ on the cross for every single one that believes in the Lord Jesus.

Authorised version

The public reading of the Bible is from the King James Authorised Version. We believe this to be a sound and God-honouring  translation that continues to be within reasonable grasp of men and women today.

You are invited to join us for classical reformed worship focused on the preaching of the Word of God.

Our Manifesto

The logo that we are using - the triquetra - is traditionally a symbol of the Holy Trinity - God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit
We also associate it with the classic New Testament triad of ‘Faith, Love, and Hope’.  These three remain through every generation and the triad is our manifesto.

Our story

At the beginning of 2018 we were searching for a place to hold services on Sunday afternoons. We had considered halls of different kinds, but a chapel was preferred. The late Brian Clifford, chairman of the Burial Grounds and Property Committee of Cranbrook and Sissinghurst Parish Council Parish Council, welcomed the suggestion of using Golford Chapel. The venue proved ideal.
Golford Chapel became the home of our small worshipping community until it closed on account of Coronavirus. We are now seeking alternative accommodation.
